Our new podcast Uit de Kluiten Gewassen with Hazera is live! In this podcast, host Rainier Peters offers listeners a behind-the-scenes look at our crops, speaking with colleagues about different varieties, practical experiences and insights from the field.
The podcast is created for our growers who want to learn more about breeding, cultivation and the choices that contribute to strong varieties for they are growing today.
In the first episode, crop specialists John and Rick join Rainier to talk about leek. Together, they discuss promising new varieties that will be trialled and take a closer look at the importance of multi-year trial data. By following varieties across several seasons and locations, we gain a clearer picture of their optimal performance.
Practical experience also plays an important role. By speaking directly with growers and combining their experiences with our knowledge, we continue to build a portfolio that responds to the needs of the market.
